Desktop Infrared Wrist Thermometer
The Model TSM-1 is a desktop version of the popular TS-1 Infrared Wrist Thermometer. The TSM-1 uses the same medical grade infrared sensor but has a more cost effective design for lower traffic areas. Compared to using a handheld infrared thermometer to screen employees and visitors, the TSM-1 is the perfect solution for small offices and other low traffic areas.
The Model TSM-1 is a self-help, non-contact infrared wrist thermometer designed to quickly screen people for high temperatures. Compared to hiring an employee to manually screen people at an entrance, the Model TSM-1 is a cost-effective, no touch solution to help keep places of work or gathering safe.
How does it work?
The temperature screening device includes a motion sensor and will give voice instructions for people to check their temperature as they approach the device. The user places their wrist next to the side of the sensor at the blinking green light and their temperature is taken. The thermometer will instantly indicate the temperature reading on the digital display, and will give an audible indication based on the temperature reading and set points. In the event of a temperature above the high set point, an audible alarm will sound. Results will appear in less than one second!
How is the TSM-1 unit set up?
The TSM-1 can be set up in a matter of seconds. Once you take the unit out of the box it can be set directly on a table or desk. Connect the power cord provided to the unit, plug the other end into a wall outlet, and turn the power switch on the side of the device to the on position. The TSM-1 is now ready to take a temperature!

I work in a small attorney’s office and we like to practice proper social distancing protocols to keep our staff and client’s safe. We use the forehead temperature guns but they have become a hassle. Once I found the TSM-1 desktop thermometer we gave it a shot and love it. We no longer have to take forehead temperatures at our front desk. We placed it at the edge of our desk by the front entrance and have people just put the wrist in the flash. I highly recommend this option for small offices as it eliminates the use of staff to check everyone’s temperatures.
